It took just four truck races for Busch to score the first win for his new Toyota truck team.

“It’s a big deal,” Busch said. “It’s always nice to win anytime you’re in anybody’s stuff, but especially in your own. It seems to sit a lot better within yourself. ”

Busch earned his 17th truck win and first at Nashville Superspeedway in the series.

“There was a lot of blood, sweat and tears this winter put into this deal. … I’m very proud of everybody and the way they’ve worked so hard this year.”

Busch started from the pole and went on to dominate the race -- leading a race-high 131 laps in the 150 lap race. Kevin Harvick was the only one that could even try to chase Busch down over the closing laps. On lap 120, Harvick pulled to the side of Busch, but couldn’t make the pass for the lead.

“I just slid the truck several times there,” Harvick said. “I got a big slide there at the end and I couldn’t make up for it.”

Harvick was a roll in the series. He won the past four truck races he had entered.

“It’s good that (Busch) won,” Harvick said. “Obviously they put a lot of effort into it. He’s going to win, whether it’s his truck or Billy Ballew’s truck. It was just a matter of time before they won.”

Former Nashville winner Ron Hornaday Jr. finished third followed by Timothy Peters, Todd Bodine, Matt Crafton, Mike Skinner, Aric Almirola, Stacy Compton and Rick Crawford in the top-10.

Timothy Peters leads the point standings by 82 points over 2nd place driver, Aric Almirola.

The Camping World Truck Series will be off until May 2 at Kansas Speedway.
